evaluation
"Describe a time when you solved a difficult people problem on your course unit nine project"
From being in lockdown and having to come up with an idea for my unit 9 project i decided to do a short film about a boy who attempts home workout exercises, because of this idea I was able to record the project myself so a people problem I encountered was that I didn't need to interact with anyone on the course for my project since I planned it so I could do it myself because of lockdown.
Mock interview
For this part of the unit we had to record a practice Mock interview using 5 questions and 5 answers we wrote ourselves involving the star method. for the answers I pretended I worked in a cable factory since I haven't had a job yet.
Since I did my mock interview alone I tried to answer the questions as professionally as I could, I did seem a bit agitated because it was a bit frustrating to do it alone. For the interview I wanted to answer professional questions for example describe a time you had conflict at work?, for this question and a few others I spoke about a fake scenario I had in a cable factory because I wanted to answer the questions as if I had already had a job to prepare myself.
I had to record my interview from home because I was unable to go to college the day they were filming them. I chose the questions because they were star questions so I was able to use the star method with answering them. I asked myself the questions which I struggled with how I was gonna do that but came to the idea of just reading them to myself.
Telephone call
I found the telephone call really easy and simple as I am used to being called and how to talk to people over the phone.
For my telephone call I acted as if I was being chosen for an interview, I felt I answered very professionally. Overall the call went as planned and ended up being really professional.
Canva CV
I have written many CV's in my time and from using canva I learned that it makes your CV look really tidy and professional and its really simple and easy to use, I did have to screenshot and upload it to the production page which shortened the width and the quality but there was nothing else I could really do to fix it.
They did have many templates to chose from, I tried a few but decided to go with the one on my production page because I thought it really stands out. I will be using it for future CV's I will be making.
Cover letter
The cover letter is what I am proud of the most on this project since I felt I wrote it really professionally. I had a look at a few examples of a cover letter because I wasn't sure how to lay it out but after a few examples I knew what I had to do.
For my cover letter I wrote it as if I was applying for a videographer and editor position. I wrote about the experience I have from media and why I would be the best for the position. Overall the cover letter went exactly to plan and looks very professional.
Personal statement
The personal statement was one of the hardest thing we had to do, it was also the one I was most worried about. The personal statements really important since that is what the university that we are applying for will be receiving.
On our course we learnt how to structure and write our personal statements which was a really big help although when I did my draft I was really struggling with what to put so I emailed it to James Fox and he gave me some feedback, but after some research into myself and what I had achieved I was able to write my finished personal statement.
For my personal statement I wrote about the experience I have had in media and what knowledge I have gained from the past 2 years on my course I also wrote about what grades I have received from previous education, my hobbies and awards I have received.
Overall I am happy with how my production and evidence came out. The only thing I am not one hundred percent happy about is my mock interview but I can learn from this and hopefully do better in the future.

please complete and upload these elements, Tristan. Then evaluation can commence.
Similar to the comment above, once the elements for the production page have been uploaded then you need to evaluate each element individually, following the Rolfe et al method.
